Chapter 2: Secret Execution

In the aftermath of Sukuna’s awakening, Yuji Itadori finds himself in the custody of Megumi Fushiguro and Satoru Gojo, two jujutsu sorcerers. Gojo, one of the strongest sorcerers alive, is intrigued by Yuji’s ability to contain Sukuna and suggests a plan to delay his execution.

Yuji is taken to the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, where he learns about the world of jujutsu sorcery—a world where curses and cursed objects like Sukuna’s finger are a constant threat. Yuji is informed that the higher-ups have decided he must be executed to eliminate the threat posed by Sukuna, but Gojo offers an alternative: delay the execution until they collect all of Sukuna’s fingers, which would then be destroyed along with Yuji.

Faced with this grim reality, Yuji agrees to the plan, knowing that it’s the only way to protect others from the curse within him. The chapter concludes with Yuji’s resolve to fight, setting him on the path of becoming a jujutsu sorcerer, despite the uncertainty and danger that lie ahead.
