Chapter 1: Ryomen Sukuna

Yuji Itadori, a high school student with extraordinary physical abilities, lives a relatively normal life. He’s a member of the Occult Research Club, though his interest in the supernatural is minimal. Yuji’s life takes a drastic turn when his grandfather passes away, leaving him with words of wisdom that resonate deeply: "help others."

Shortly after his grandfather's death, Yuji's peaceful life is shattered when he and his friends uncover a cursed object—an ancient, desiccated finger. Unbeknownst to them, this finger is a powerful cursed object that belongs to the infamous Ryomen Sukuna, a legendary curse feared by all.

When a swarm of cursed spirits descends upon the school, drawn by the cursed energy of Sukuna's finger, Yuji finds himself thrust into a terrifying world he never imagined. Desperate to save his friends, Yuji makes a bold decision: he swallows the cursed finger, hoping to gain the power needed to defeat the spirits.

In that moment, Sukuna awakens within Yuji’s body. The cursed spirit, notorious for his malevolence, takes control, and Yuji’s life is forever changed. Despite Sukuna’s overwhelming power, Yuji miraculously retains control over his body, much to Sukuna’s surprise. The chapter ends with Yuji realizing that he is now the host of one of the most dangerous curses in history, setting the stage for the perilous journey ahead.
